Sweatshop opens dialogue between marginalised Australians in original podcast
This original Sweatshop podcast opens an important dialogue between first Australians and new Australians through creative writing and oral storytelling. Produced in partnership with Western Sydney University by Mariam Chehab, the podcast features interviews award-winning and critically-acclaimed writers such as, Peter Polites, Amanda Yeo and Stephen Pham. The podcast also features stories by Indigenous students from Leumeah High School, which were performed by renowned Aboriginal actors and singers, Sharni McDermott (Home & Away, Wellmania) and Marcus Corowa (Opera Australia's Bran Nue Dae, The Carole King Musical). Featuring stories written by Chelsea Masan, Olivia Culgan, Jasmine-Lee Fischer, Palyssa Baker, Adina Aslett-Robertson, Grant Solberg, Alexis Humphries and Jayde Fischer.
