Sweatshop teams up with the Sydney Opera House for All About Women

For All About Women 2022, the Sydney Opera House partnered with Western Sydney-based literacy movement Sweatshop on an emerging writers mentorship program for women and non-binary First Nations, culturally and linguistically diverse writers.

Winners Yeena Kirkbright and Ayeesha Ash along with the High Commended picks, Lina Ali and Raqiya Ahmed, worked on short fiction pieces inspired by the themes of this year’s All About Women festival, under the guidance of Sweatshop judges/mentors Winnie Dunn and Randa Abdel-Fattah.
