Ferdous Bahar is a Bengali-Australian woman from Western Sydney. She is in her final year of law at the University of Sydney and is a member of Sweatshop: Western Sydney Literacy Movement. Ferdous is currently working on a series of short stories and poems which highlight the experiences of Muslim women in the corporate workspace, drawing on her own encounters within the legal profession. In addition to studying and writing, Ferdous works as a paralegal at law firm Ashurst.
