Sarah Ayoub

Sarah Ayoub is a freelance journalist, bestselling author and academic based in south-west Sydney. She attained her PhD from the University of Notre Dame and is a lecturer in journalism and creative writing. Sarah’s work has appeared in The Guardian, The Sydney Morning Herald, The Australian, SBS, Sydney Review of Books and more. Sarah is the author of teen novels such as: Hate is Such a Strong Word, The Yearbook Committee, and The Cult of Romance. She is also an author of children's picture books such as: The Love that Grew and Nice and Slow. Sarah has also contributed to several acclaimed anthologies Arab, Australian, Other and Racism: Stories on Fear, Hate & Bigotry. She sits on the board of Sweatshop and the Australian Society of Authors.
