Janette Chen

Janette Chen is a Chinese-Australian writer from Lidcombe. Her work has been published in SBS Voices, Mascara Literary Review, Going Down Swinging and Sweatshop Women anthologies. In 2019, Janette won the prestigious Deborah Cass Prize for her short story, “Wall of Men”. She was also a script editor and consultant on The Demon, which premiered at the Sydney Opera House. Janette holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Technology Sydney and is currently completing her Masters in Creative Writing at the University of Sydney.
