Luca Sawyer

Luca Sawyer is a proud Wiradjuri woman that grew up on Biripi Country. She is finishing her final courses in Arts/Law at UNSW, with a major in creative writing and a minor in Indigenous studies. Luca is currently a paralegal at Terri Janke and Company where she aims to empower First Nation people by protecting their Indigenous Cultural and Intellectual Property. Luca has been writing stories since a jarjum with the constant support of her mother. In 2024, she was a finalist in the Indigenous Storytellers Scholarship for Façon Magazine.
