Sweatshop Writers Group

The Sweatshop Writers Group is an ensemble of emerging and established writers and artists who meet monthly to develop critical and creative writing for various artistic outcomes. The monthly workshops are held in-person and online by multi-award-winning author and Sweatshop founding director, Dr Michael Mohammed Ahmad, and acclaimed writer, editor and Sweatshop general manager, Winnie Dunn. Workshops are open to writers from First Nations and culturally diverse backgrounds.


If you would like to register your interest to join the Sweatshop Writers Group, please fill out the questionnaire below. All information we acquire will be treated as strictly confidential. Registrars must be Australian residents and over the age of 16. Please allow for up to 4 weeks for us to review your application. For any further enquiries, please contact Sweatshop.
